Bridgehampton Home

Before and After

I always love seeing a project start to come to completion. Having access to a camera (iphone), while I am managing a project, makes it easy to document the progression of a project. When I finally get to bed at night, I find myself reviewing the day by taking a look at my photos. I bounce back and forth, kind of nit-picking...looking and thinking about the details. In a sense, I can imagine the end project by viewing the angles I have a shot, making sure that the changes I have made, or haven't made, are going to work. It's also a way for me to really appreciate my team and all of the hard work everyone has put in to get from point A to point B. In the end, I am grateful for my contractor, vendors and the team that help bring my visions together. Here are a couple of before and afters...from my iphone!!!

In this sunroom pictured at a home in Bridgehampton, I was able to repurpose the furniture! I even recovered the original cushions! I stole the table from the living space. It is solid wood, originally maple in color, I had it painted white. I added a new coat of paint to the walls and rearranged the seating and poof...a Hamptons style s sunroom!

In these photos below, I opened up the wall making the dining and kitchen one large space. We gutted down to the studs and reworked the layout of the kitchen. We darkened the original floor, added custom cabinetry and all new appliances. I reused the original dining table! In that area, I added a rug, lighting and changed out the cushions! This project was so much fun. I was able to work with a great team and hanging out in The Hamptons wasn't a bad gig!
