Use of Color...
There is a trend happening...it's the no color trend! I visited clients today on my 17th St job in NYC. I love love love this space. I love love love these clients. It's been a fun challenge combining their likes of single pieces into a whole story. I cannot wait for you guys to see this space. We started with a palette of grey, brown and navy. We are still working in the same palette but upped our blue from navy to sapphire! Sounds so sexy!! I am so happy to add a po

Inspiration
Thank goodness for Pinterest. I do not know about you, but it's 3am and I'm awake doing Pinterest searches. Aside of quotes about anything, I love looking for ideas for future projects. I have an exciting project that is in the early stages on 17th St. It is a large 3 bedroom with 12ft ceilings!! The young couple has coined their style as "urban prep"... These are a few ideas from Pinterest that inspired me.

Wallpaper Tells A Story
I am mildly obsessed with wallpaper. Ok, that's a complete lie, I am wildly obsessed with wallpaper!!! I think wallpaper can transform a room more than a rug, a piece of furniture, a light fixture, paint... I can spend hours and hours looking at wallpaper books. Here are a few rooms I continue to revisit! I have painted and repainted...wallpapered and rewallpapered...added more and more molding... you get what I mean!!!

A Drawing to Real Life
I work with an amazing wood workroom. When I tell you these guys have saved me, that's an understatement. I love handing over a project, a sketch, very Joanna Gaines, and then watching it come to fruition. Ok, ok, ok... I'm a bit of a nag. I probably visit too much, but I am truly obsessed with the people there and watching them work! I stop by just to see if any new lumber has been delivered and then write my name on pieces I imagine I will use one day for a bar, desk, t

Bridgehampton Home
Before and After I always love seeing a project start to come to completion. Having access to a camera (iphone), while I am managing a project, makes it easy to document the progression of a project. When I finally get to bed at night, I find myself reviewing the day by taking a look at my photos. I bounce back and forth, kind of nit-picking...looking and thinking about the details. In a sense, I can imagine the end project by viewing the angles I have a shot, making sure
